The Opportunity
Alterra Mountain Company is one of the industry's leading ski resort companies. With a mission to be disruptive both in their industry and around the globe, we chose to highlight that mission through this mural.
The Solution
The majority of the final illustrated scene was a non-specific mountain, adorned by Columbines, the Colorado state flower. This nods to Alterra's Colorado-hometown pride while simultaneously representing the entirety of their international mountain portfolio. Inspired by the Hatch Print Show as well as package design from the early 1900s, this piece was designed to feel both timeless and contemporary through use of its old-time influences executed with new-time craft.
