Design Approach

Forming the 2017 Sharpie Squad, I created various pieces with a variety of Sharpies' products on a variety of surfaces. I was tasked with creating boldly original and awe-inspiring projects to showcase the versatility of the Sharpie marker. Surfaces worked on: map, ceramic, wood (twice), canvas, glass. Not only functioning as proof that Sharpie markers can be used on any surface, the content and message of each piece was meant to inspire the viewers to create.
